In the summer of 2018, North Fork Bread Co. was established to provide naturally-leavened sourdough breads to the greater Northeast Nebraska region.

Farmer’s Markets, grocery stores, and local eateries were to be the primary outlets for the products of North Fork Bread Co. However, after many unsuccessful attempts to establish a wholesale market, and given the lack of restaurants that cater to customers searching for health-conscious options, it was decided that creating our own establishment to provide North Fork Bread Co. products on a larger was scale was necessary.

What is NoFo? NoFo Pizza & Café is a modern pizzeria and café that provides from-scratch cooking and hospitality to the city of Norfolk and the surrounding areas. The name, NoFo, is an abbreviation of the namesake of Norfolk—the North Fork of the Elkhorn River—as well as the name of the first company, North Fork Bread Co.

What can you expect at NoFo? We aim to treat our guests as visitors to our home while they enjoy high-quality dining in a relaxed, yet upscale environment. An emphasis is placed on scratch-cooking using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
